MISCHA RESNICK - ODYSSEUS / CERBERUS |

Mischa Resnick began his actor training when he was accepted into the Specialist Drama Course at John Curtin College of the Arts, Western Australia in 2000. The faculty and guest directors from around Australia worked closely with the students to facilitate high-quality performance techniques with their pupils. After graduating from John Curtin Mischa began his studies at Curtin University where he was involved with the campus's Hayman Theatre. He gained experience in all areas of theatre including acting, directing, writing, stage management, lighting operation/technician, sound operation/technician and stage design. After completing his undergraduate degree he continued with an Honours year under the supervision of Dr Leah Mercer. This involved writing and performing the solo piece Tyranny, Or How You Learned to Stop Worrying And Love Your Leader as well as an exegetical analysis of the concepts of tyranny, equality and justice. Mischa moved to London in early 2010 and has been working with Flying Dutchman since April. |

Stephanie Gunner
joined
Flying
Dutchman
after
graduating
from Central
School of
Speech and
Drama in
2009, with
an MA in
Classical
Acting.
Since then,
Stephanie
has appeared
in a number
of projects,
including 'Popular
Unrest' for
Chisenhale
Gallery, 'Miracle'
at Leicester
Square
Theatre,
Slung Low's
'Last Seen',
and the
UNKLE music
video 'Runaway'.
Most
recently she
has lent her
voice to a
series of
audio dramas
for Aural
Intrigue, as
well as
further
exploring
new writing
through her
involvement
with msft.
Continuing
to be drawn
to theatre
that mixes
music and
singing with
high drama,
she has also
begun
writing her
own music,
as part of
the acoustic
duo
FireFeather.
Stephanie is
soon to be
appearing in
'A Time of
War', and
will also be
performing
later in the
year at the
Camden
Fringe
Festival.

GRAHAM NEWMARCH - AGAMEMNON, KING OF MYCENEA |

This marks Graham’s first foray
into the English fringe after the completion of his MA in Classical Acting
at The Central School of Speech & Drama. Graham earned his Bachelor of Fine
Arts in Acting at the University of Victoria’s Phoenix Theatre liberal arts
program on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. He has a wealth of
Canadian experience, both amateur and professional – and is unspeakably
ecstatic about adventuring through ancient Greece on new theatrical soil.

| Freya graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in Classical Acting. She has trained at the Moscow Arts Theatre School in Russia. Freya appeared as Camilla in The Aproria Theatres production of Cardenio. Recently she has worked with innovative theatre company dreamthinkspeak at the Royal Opera House and appeared at The Battersea Arts Centre in ‘Handbag’. Previous work includes Esther in This Could Be The Last Time, Celeste in Unacknowledged Acts of Desire for the V&A Museum, Persephone/Porph in Airswimming by Charlotte Jones (with her own company ‘Scrawny Cat’) Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Lorna in Mammals by Amelia Bullmore, Patty in Dennis Potter’s Brimstone and Treacle, Lois in Wonder of the World by David Lindsay-Abaire, David Harrower’s Knives in Hens, Emily in Black Widow by Paul Thain; she also co-created and directed The Tales of Petrushka in collaboration with Roehampton University. Freya has just finished filming with the renowned film makers The Astbury’s. She is soon to be appearing in ‘A Time of War’ and will begin shooting for a pilot TV series in the Summer. |

Chris trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2009. His theatre credits include Mrs Warren's Profession (The Comedy Theatre), And the Little One Said (CockTavern Theatre), Out of the Sun (Hen & Chickens Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (CSSD) Twelfth Night (Zoo Venue- Edinburgh), Tom & Sal (Sweet Venue- Edinburgh) and Journey's End (EUTCo). His screen credits include Treacle Junior (Factory Films), College Party (Royal College of Art), Highway Patrolman (Bournemouth Film School) and Dead Hungry (Grain Media).

Ali Zaidi graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in Classical Acting. His theatre credits include Gandhi-The New Musical (Tristan Bates Theatre) and Evicted (Tricycle Theatre). He has also had lead roles in the short films Danny Boy, And Today in London and Hijab. Last year Ali played Achilles in the Flying Dutchman showcase: Scenes from the Iliad. This year he will set fire to Troy as Ares, the God of war.

Niamh de Valera studied
at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Dublin, and Central School of Speech
and Drama. She was Producer for Naughty!, a Sebastian Rex Dance
Group/Acting like Mad double bill, in May 2010 and Assistant
Producer for the premiere of Mervyn Peake’s The Cave in October
2010, both at Blue Elephant Theatre. She also works for the Blue
Elephant’s Young People’s Theatre and has stage-managed a number of
professional productions there, including; The Sound, The Title
of the Drama about Ante is Written Here, God Cried Woof and
Drive-Thru Nativity.

LUCAS - SON OF KING PRIAM |
Lucas is one of our newest and youngest actors. He will play the role of one of the sons of King Priam. Lucas is known for his bravery and knowledge about Greek drama. Name a story of the Iliad and he will start telling it. Since Odysseus was already cast and did not fit his age range, he convinced the director that there was another part for him to play in A TIME OF WAR. Lucas created this role which he plays fearlessly.

Zak Dajani is a musician,
singer-songwriter, composer, guitar teacher and now actor.
Graduating from London's Guitar Institute with a BMus in popular
music performance in 2005, he has gigged Europe including London's
own Ronnie Scott's, and his work encompasses all popular styles. He
recently began studying acting at the City Lit and is interested in
being part of a troupe that produces creative, inspiring drama. |

TICE OUDENHOOVEN - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR |

Tice Oudenhooven
is one of the founders of Flying Dutchman.
He
graduated from the MA Classical Acting course at the Central School of
Speech and Drama. He also studied and graduated from the BA Musical Theatre
course at the conservatoire in the Netherlands. There he
enjoyed a diverse training in music, theatre and
movement. In addition to this he did an intense summer course at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
Tice was nominated for the Young Top Talent Award at the Fontys High School of Arts. He was awarded a scholarship to continue his art studies abroad. Before studying at Central, he was an acting and drama teacher for young professionals and children. After his studies he directed a bright new version of Mama Mia! performed by conservatoire students for their end year's performance. Tice is the writer and composer of A TIME OF WAR. | CRYSTAL BROWN - HELEN, QUEEN OF SPARTA |

| Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Crystal's journey to the London stage began by singing in various choirs and musical acts. After studying classical voice in San Antonio, TX and Vienna, Austria, Crystal embarked on a vocalist adventure which has thus far included various genres from jazz to Austrian hip hop, music video spots, festivals, concerts, and a reggae tour. Her arrival to London was hastened by musical theatre studies at Central School of Speech and Drama. When not playing Helen, Crystal can be found auditioning for musicals, in commericals, and working with other talented musicians and vocalists on a variety of projects. |

SAMMY KISSIN - ORACLE |
| Samantha graduated from LAMDA in July 2010. Her theatre credits include Amy in a new play, "Unrestless" commissioned for the Old Vic sponsored Coming Up festival, Harriet in Quality Street (Finborough Theatre); Myth, Propaganda and Disaster in Nazi Germany and Contemporary America (Contact Theatre); Roberto Zucco (Contact Theatre) and Modern Man (Players’ Club, New York). She took part in American Bytes Back at the London Fringe Festival and played Candy in Lashings with Whipped Cream at the Nursery Festival. |

DAVID KENDALL - PRIAM, KING OF TROY |
| After a
degree in Drama and English at Manchester University, David Kendall
trained at the Mime Centre and LAMDA. In the early part of his
career, he toured with companies specialising in ‘Physical Theatre’,
including Harrogate Theatre TIE, SNAP People’s Theatre Trust and Red
Shift. After classical actor training at LAMDA, his recent theatre
work includes appearences at Birmingham Rep, The New Vic, Sheffield
Crucible, Nottingham Playhouse and Vienna’s English Theatre. He has
also toured with the Peter Hall Company and Forest Forge.

Hedva graduated with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Central school of Speech and Drama. She researches the various usages of technology within live performances and the ways in which they affect the relationship between the performance and the participants. Her research combines academic and practical research. She has presented her research for different conferences including 'JAM 2010 – The Audience Spectacular' in Reading University; she will also be presenting in the DRHA 2010 conference at Brunel University and TaPRA 2010 conference in Cardiff University. Her recent collaborations were: "Scenes From the Iliad" original play devised by "Flying Dutchman"; an adaptation of "The Trial" by Project K; "The Hall" by 19;29 and an adaptation of "Crime and Punishment" by Ashes and Diamonds.
